Udinese director Marino: “Roma struggled against us.”

Udinese are off to a hot start with their newly appointed manager Andrea Sottil and are currently sitting near the top of the league table having beaten the likes of Inter, Roma and Fiorentina.

Their sporting director Pierpaolo Marino continued to praise his team for the effort against stronger opponents in a recent interview with Tutti Convocati.

“We faced three great teams in 7 games and we came out with 6 points between Inter and Roma and a very encouraging performance against Milan where I think we deserved to win,” Marino said confidently.

“I cannot say that these big teams look particularly good this year. Inter and Roma struggled with us, same goes for Fiorentina. Milan were able to suffer the least out of all of them.”
