Udinese director Gianluca Nani was asked to comment on Claudio Ranieri’s words of interest in striker Lorenzo Lucca.
Shortly after the match against Roma which Udinese lost 1-2, Nani spoke to DAZN in response to Ranieri’s quote of “Lucca? We’re following him.”
“Lucca? We give him a lot of value,” said Nani. “He is a great player, he will be the next number nine of the Italian national team.”
“We have rejected several approaches, we do not take offers into consideration. But I listen to everyone, Roma has never approached me, I would be surprised if they do not like Lucca.”
“In my opinion we are talking about a truly complete striker, he risks becoming a great player, he is followed by Premier clubs. I am pleased that Roma like him, but it is not our priority to sell him in January.”
