Udinese executive Pierpaolo Marino: “There’s nothing concrete in Musso to Roma.”

Udinese’s Technical Director, Pierpaolo Marino, dismissed the rumors that claim goalkeeper Juan Musso is closing in on a move to Roma.

The Giallorossi have been linked with a summer move for the Argentine shot-stopper for several months following an up and down season from current goalkeeper Pau Lopez.

“There’s nothing concrete at the moment,” he said during an appearance on Rete Oro’s ‘Il Tribunale delle Romane.’

“We read a lot of things in the newspapers but the reality is that we’re solely focused on the remainder of the season. We’re not focused on the transfer market whatsoever, this could destabilise us.”

“Roma is a well organised team with a lot of individual quality. They’re the only team this season to take all six points against us. This is a team that could fight for the Scudetto with a couple additions. They need to find a real striker, someone who can score 25 goals.”

Finally, he added, “I think Fonseca is doing a great job, he must remain. He can fight for the Scudetto if they back him with reinforcements.”
