A shocking event took place in the second half of this evening’s match between Roma and Udinese at the Dacia Arena in Udine.
At the 72nd minute, Roma centreback Evan Ndicka collapsed on the pitch and was taken off a stretcher.
According to DAZN, the player was conscious.
A decision was taken by Daniele De Rossi and his men along with referee Pairetto and Udinese coach Gabriele Cioffi to suspend the match.
More updates are expected to follow regarding Ndicka’s condition.
The game will likely be postponed until a later date when it will resume from the 1-1 scoreline that was in place the moment the Ivorian defender went down.
