After demolishing Jose Mourinho’s side 4-0, Udinese manager Andrea Sottil took the stage to address his team’s convincing performance in a post-match interview with DAZN.
“We are in an excellent moment, the team is physically well and we are growing game by game,” said the Italian coach.
“As a team, we have the right characteristics to effectively press the opponent. I’m trying to build an identity for the team. The guys were extraordinary tonight.”
“We played with courage, playing good football and we did very well. We were deadly in transition,” he added.
“Throughout the game, we were able to completely cut off their midfield, and that allowed us to play with pace. We conceded little to Roma. We shut them up. I think the win is more than deserved.”
