Udinese manager Andrea Sottil discussed his side’s upcoming trip to Rome where they will face Jose Mourinho’s men.
Ahead of Sunday night, Sottil spoke to reporters about recovering a string of disappointing results including the 2-2 draw with Monza last week.
“I don’t like talking about past games, as I always say they must be archived, and one must think about the next match only,” said the Italian technician.
“I expect to see a very energetic Roma, Mourinho is a master at this and I admire him, he’s capable of getting the best out of his players.”
“Roma is solid, practical with great players at their disposal. They concede few goals and make good use of counter-attacks. A difficult game awaits us, we know it, we will have to be very concentrated. As I always say, we will go out there to play our football.”
“Tammy Abraham and Paulo Dybala’s absence? They lose two important players but Roma have a top-level squad, players like El Sharaawy and Belotti are absolutely up to replacing them.”
“It’s a match that doesn’t need a lot of stimuli, in front of a full Olimpico, with three important points up for grabs, the motivations come by themselves.”
