Udinese attacker Gerard Deulofeu is being linked with a move to Roma in light of Nicolo Zaniolo’s uncertain future.
Zaniolo’s wish to leave the capital club took everyone by surprise including General Manager Tiago Pinto who had been in talks with the player’s agent over the last few months.
According to La Repubblica, Pinto’s first name on the list of potential candidates to replace Zaniolo before the end of the January window is that of Spaniard Gerard Deulofeu who so far this season has collected 2 goals and 6 assists in 15 league appearances for Udinese.
Udinese are asking for at least €10 million – a sum that Roma would be able to afford in case of Zaniolo’s sale.
