With the fifth Serie A matchday on the line, Udinese sporting director Pierpaolo Marino previewed his side’s upcoming league engagement with Jose Mourinho’s Roma.
“Our club has done an excellent job in maintaining a winning mindset in the team’s DNA. And I think this year especially it’s for everyone to see as the more experienced players were able to unite the younger members of the team,” Marino told Udinese’s official channels.
“At first we were worried about this hectic and difficult opening to the season, but we ended up collecting six points with two wins.”
“These results give us confidence and a feeling of self-worth. It will help us prepare for the upcoming match with Roma, which is going to be enthusiastic and may help us continue to surprise everyone.”
