Udinese defender Walace spoke minutes before kick-off to Udinese-Roma in this year’s edition of Serie A’s fifth matchday. The Brazilian centre-back addressed the dangers that Roma can pose with their offensive firepower.
“We need to advance our backline to face Roma and provide preemptive cover,” he told Udinese TV.
“Certainly the boys have the opportunity to do that against a great team,” Walace added.
“Roma’s front three is made up of great players. Everyone will have to be on high alert for the entire match.”
