UEFA dismiss Bodø/Glimt’s appeal to lift Knutsen’s supension

Bodo Glimt coach Kjetil Knutsen

UEFA have officially dismissed the appeal filed by Bodø/Glimt to lift the suspension on their manager Kjetil Knutsen following the incident in the aftermath of the first leg of the Conference League quarterfinals against Roma.

Bodø/Glimt filed the appeal after concluding that the decision by UEFA was not correct.

As a result, Knutsen will be in the stands for Thursday night, serving his one-match suspension.

Roma assistant Nuno Santos will also not take part in Roma’s second leg vs Bodø/Glimt as he was identified as one of the parties at fault for the heated exchange after the final whistle in Norway last week.
