UEFA have imposed a very strict budge for Roma’s January transfer business.
The capital club will be working with extremely limited means in this transfer window as they seek defensive reinforcements for Jose Mourinho’s squad.
As revealed by Corriere dello Sport, Roma have been notified by UEFA that they can only operate within the Settlement Agreement with a limited budget of €1.5 million.
This means the Giallorossi will only be allowed to sign players on loan with deals being either free or extremely low-cost.
The only exception could made if the budget were to grow thanks to the eventual sale of either Matias Vina or Leonardo Spinazzola – both players have been linked with an exit from the club.
