La Repubblica (Bianchi) – Serie A is preparing for a plan B if the competition does not resume on 4 May.
If the season is not able to be completed, the Scudetto will not be awarded and European competition qualification will not be determined by the current Serie A table as only 26 rounds of the league have been completed.
One hypothesis is that the UEFA ranking could be used to decide who will participate in the 2020/2021 editions of the Champions League and Europa League.
Should this happen, then Juventus, Roma, Napoli and Lazio would qualify for the Champions League while Inter and Atalanta would qualify for the Europa League.
