United on Manolas

Sky Sport journalist Manuele Baiocchini has reported today that Manchester United are interested in Roma’s Kostas Manolas.

The English club have already contacted Manolas’ entourage during the weekend 10 days ago. Roma are, reportedly, asking €40 million for the Greek.

The famous issue still exists, though, in the contract of Manolas regarding his rights: should he be sold before 1 September of this year, Olympiacos would receive 50% of the transfer fee. However, it is reported this could be overcome by loaning Manolas to the Red Devils while later compensating Olympiakos.
