United want Manolas, Mancini the possible substitute

John Solano

Kostas Manolas and his €36 million release clause has drawn the attention of many clubs and with the recent appointment of Mino Raiola as his agent, a move away becomes more feasible, reports Il Corriere della Sera. The relations between Roma and Raiola are good, but his presence is never a guarantee of eternal loyalty by his clients. Manchester United is ready to pay the clause, but Roma has no intention of selling the Greek defender in January, but this could change in June. Monchi, though, has already found Manolas’ replacement should he leave: Gianluca Mancini. The ’95 class defender of Atalanta has a price tag of around €25 million.
