Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo spoke at a press conference on the eve of their Champions League match against Roma on Matchday 4.

The Red Devils enter tomorrow night’s match against the Giallorossi on a nine-match winless streak, which has called into question manager Michael Carrick’s position. Mainoo also addressed this issue during the press conference.

“It’s clear that we’ve had a difficult year so far. The results haven’t been what we’d hoped for, but now we need to focus on what lies ahead. We have some very important events ahead of us, starting with the next race. I’m convinced that a win will be enough to turn this situation around.”

“I’ve been part of this club for many years, and I’ve learned that in football there are positive periods and others that are decidedly more challenging. You can’t expect to achieve great things without facing difficulties along the way. We must also take these moments into account and try to use them to find the strength to start again.”
