With Fulham no longer an option, Justin Kluivert is forced to consider other options only hours away from this evening’s transfer deadline.
According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Valencia have entered the race to sign Kluivert before the deadline.
The Spanish side have accelerated talks with Roma and the player’s entourage after their failed attempt to sign Bryan Gil from Tottenham.
The capital club are pushing for Kluivert to depart on a permanent deal but time is not on Roma’s side.
The player’s contract was extended until 2024 earlier this summer in order to facilitate an eventual loan deal for this season. However, all bets are off on whether or not the Giallorossi can finalise a move before today’s deadline.
