Argentine forward Valentin Castellanos Gimenez is being linked with Italian giants Roma.

As the capital club’s search for a replacement of Tammy Abraham continues, the Giallorossi are keeping an eye out on several options.

Roma’s primary target for the position remains Gianluca Scamacca, but negotiations with West Ham have proven to be more difficult than expected, prompting the capital club to look elsewhere.

According to Il Messaggero, the latest name to be added on Roma’s shopping list is that of Valentin Castellanos – the 24-year-old attacker recently went on loan to Girona from New York City FC.

The player impressed viewers in La Liga with 13 goals in 35 appearances in his first season in Europe.
