Ernesto Valverde will continue coaching Athletic Bilbao.
Valverde will be the coach of Athletic Club until June 30, 2026.
The Basque club itself announced the news of the contract renewal of the coach with an official statement and a post on Twitter.
Valverde, in the last few hours, had been linked to the Roma bench as a possible successor to Claudio Ranieri.
The news of his renewal, however, denies these rumors and leads to excluding another name from the list of possible names in the running for the Giallorossi bench.
