Eric Dier’s future remains uncertain as the English defender continues being linked with Roma.

The Spurs centreback was recently heavily linked with Roma due to the Giallorossi’s need for an additional defender in the January window.

Reports from England claimed Roma boss Jose Mourinho had personally reached to Dier for a potential reunion in the Italian capital.

However, according to calciomercato.com, Micky Van de Ven’s recent injury has made Spurs reconsider Eric Dier’s future.

In fact, the news portal reports that the Englishman could now remain in London until the expiry of his contract.

On the other hand, Spurs are also monitoring potential replacements in January with Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly being the rumored priority.
