Ex-Roma fullback Vasilis Torosidis reminisced about his years spent in the Italian capital.
In a recent interview with Roma TV, Torosidis admitted that his best years were with Roma colors.
“I miss Roma and their wonderful fans so much. For me they have been three wonderful years, the best of my career. I shared the dressing room with true club legends like Totti and De Rossi.”
“When I left Roma in order to move to Bologna, I cried a lot. And I still remember those moments with much affection and nostalgia.”
“Roma was undoubtedly the team that allowed me to play at the highest levels, in Serie A, in the Champions League and in the Europa League.”
“Feyenoord? It will be very difficult, especially to play in that stadium. But Roma can have their say, they have already beaten Feyenoord in the Conference League final. They won a trophy and have Mourinho on their side.”
“José is a great coach. He has won everywhere, he has also won in Rome where it is not a foregone conclusion. Today’s team has his very precise identity. Roma is very solid behind, and driven by a packed Olimpico crowd.”
