Filippo Antonelli, the sporting director of Venezia, spoke about the transfer market in today’s press conference.
Among the various topics, the Italian executive also talked about the negotiations related to Eldor Shomurodov and the Uzbek striker’s failed move to Venice.
“Yaremchuk and Shomurodov were both our objectives,” he said.
“We had reached an agreement for both with the clubs, closed the first at the beginning of January and the other around the 20th.”
“Unfortunately the events known for both, with matches where they scored goals or were decisive, changed the scenarios for their transfers.”
