Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout was wary of the hazard that relegation-threatened Torino presents the Giallorossi this evening as the two sides showdown in the Italian capital.
The Frenchman, who has 5 goals to his name this season, warned his side before kick-off that they can not take the Granata lightly despite their 19th position in the league table.
“We can’t look beyond this match tonight,” said the ex-Fiorentina man to Roma TV. “We realise that Toro are in a tough spot, but they’ve got quality. We’ve got to be careful. It’s going to be tough tonight.”
“We had a good performance against Bologna but that’s in the past. My recovery from the injury? I feel good. I’ve overcome the knock I had and I’m feeling great.”
