Veretout further away from Roma, Diawara is ready

Alfredo Pedulla reports that Jordan Veretout is further from Roma as the Giallorossi are ready to close for Amadou Diawara. Roma needed a midfielder immediately and did not want to risk in the Frenchman choosing Milan over them.

And now the operation that sends Diawara to Roma and Manolas to Napoli can soon be realised. The defender will join Napoli after the payment of his €36 million release clause while the ex-Bologna midfielder will be given a valuation of €20 million. There is still some work to be done to define the deal, but Napoli will hand Manolas wages worth €3.5 million per season.
