Veretout rues missed chances as Roma draw 2-2 with Juventus

Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout appeared on Roma TV after scoring twice in the Giallorossi’s 2-2 draw against Juventus in the Italian capital this evening.

Roma were winning 2-1 at the break but failed to capitalise on a number of scoring opportunities from Edin Dzeko and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

“We played well but we should’ve done better when we were a man up. We lost the ball too easily,” said the Frenchman.

“We were hasty and we conceded the second goal, but against a great Juve side, we had a good match”.

He continued, “When it was 2-1 and they had a man sent off, we needed to do more to seal the win”.

”We must improve and manage the game better. We should’ve pressed more and we shouldn’t have allowed them to create chances”.
