Roma defender Thomas Vermaelen was interviewed today by Belgian outlet PlaySports, here are his words:
“I want to prove who I am, I want to be in shape and be free to play at my best, it’s time: both for Roma and for the national team. I want to play here, where I am now, prove myself and be fit and stay longer. This, for me, is the main thing, with both the club and Belgium, because we have the right age to excel in the World Cup.”
