Hellas Verona defender Davide Faraoni was disappointed with his side’s late defeat to Roma at home. The fullback complimented his teammates following the final whistle in an interview with DAZN.
“We showed great team spirit when we went down to ten men,” he said, referring to Dawidowicz’s red card early on in the first half.
“It’s a shame to have lost the match in the final minutes. It’s a terrible feeling. We played an attentive, focused game with Roma who are a great team, with great players.”
“We have to believe in ourselves and something good will come our way, I’m sure of it.”
