Hellas Verona coach Paolo Zanetti spoke about his side’s performance in the 3-2 win over Roma.
In his post-match interview with Sky Sport, Zanetti said, “I hadn’t slept in a while, I’ll make up for it tonight, I arrived exhausted. But I am happy.”
“We gave everything we had, but even if we hadn’t won I would have congratulated the boys. They gave everything in their legs, in their hearts and in their heads.”
“We had courage and we also had to suffer against a team superior to us.”
“We went ahead three times and it means that this team has values, it has good players who have had ups and downs but it’s normal – that’s also part of the game.”
