Vertonghen on his future: “My next club? That will be out probably sooner rather than later“.

Now former Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen was asked about his future during an interview with British outlet TalkSport yesterday.

The Belgian defender has been heavily linked with a potential free transfer to Roma, who are keen to bring in an experienced central defender after having recently switched to a three-man defence.

“My next club? That will be out probably sooner rather than later,” he said. “I’m considering the options and making a good choice”.

“Will I remain in England? It will all depend on the options,” finished the 33 year-old.

“I’ve got something in my head and we’ll see if that will come around or not”.
