Roma midfielder Gonzalo Villar admitted that the last two weeks have been a bit awkward for his side just before they kicked-off tonight against Hellas Verona.
Speaking to Roma TV, the Spaniard conceded that even though they have a chance to get back into third place in the Serie A table, the atmosphere has been strange following their elimination from the Coppa Italia.
“Our goal in to win every single game. So we hope to do well today, especially after these last couple of weeks, which have been a bit strange,” he said.
“We know that Verona is a strong team. Their last game against Napoli says it all. They won against a very good Partenopei team, so we’ve got to be ready from the very first minute and play our best so that we can win.”
