Gonzalo Villar and Borja Mayoral are on their way out of the capital club, and as Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport reports, the two Spaniards are scheduled to travel to their home country in the coming hours.
The midfielder and attacker will undergo their medical with La Liga side Getafe tomorrow morning. For Villar, the transfer is on the basis of a dry loan. The player is expected to return to Rome in June.
Mayoral’s transfer to Getafe also happens to be a dry loan, but Roma will retain the possibility to purchase him permanently from Real Madrid for €20 million.
This allows for the Giallorossi to avoid paying €500,000 for the loan to Real Madrid for the 24 year-old striker. Though, Getafe will be responsible for paying the attacker’s wages for the remainder of the season.
