Roma midfielder Gonzalo Villar was interviewed by Roma TV before the Giallorossi kick-off this afternoon against Parma.
The Spaniard will replace Lorenzo Pellegrini, who just returned to the fold after overcoming a bout with COVID, in Paulo Fonseca’s starting formation — marking his first league start of the season.
”We were in great form before the break, that’s true, but we worked really well during these last two weeks,” said Villar. “We are ready to win.”
“Physically I’m good and I feel the confidence that the manager and my teammates have in me grows each time.”
The Giallorossi host Fabio Liverani’s side this afternoon in the Italian capital and enter the clash having won 4 of their previous 5 league fixtures. Parma, meanwhile, have won only once this season.
