Villar continues to draw interest from several La Liga sides

Gonzalo Villar’s time at Roma, after an excellent first few months under former Roma boss Paulo Fonseca, seems to be winding down.

The young Spaniard has seen his playing time steadily decrease under Jose Mourinho and has been recently demoted to the stands along with fellow countryman Borja Mayoral.

The 23-year-old midfielder may be looking to depart the Italian capital already in January.

According to Spanish outlet todofichajes, Villar is being actively pursued by Valencia.

Tiago Pinto’s demands are clear – €15 million for the services of the young midfielder.

Sevilla and Real Betis are also in the race for the player and a sale in the January transfer window is now a concrete option for the Giallorossi.
