Roma defender Federico Fazio could be the next summer departure.
Spanish outlet superdeportes.es has reported that Unai Emery would like to reunite with the Argentine at Villarreal, at the club at which he was recently appointed.
After having welcomed Kubo, Dani Parejo, and Francis Coquelin, Emery is looking to reinforce his defense and could opt for the former Spurs man, who will turn 34 in March.
Fazio has been with the Giallorossi since 2016, however, he finds himself near the bottom of the pecking order of manager Paulo Fonseca. Fellow defenders Chris Smalling, Roger Ibañez and Gianluca Mancini were all preferred for Fazio this term.
