With a last minute goal from Tammy Abraham Roma are through winning 2-1 on aggregate against Vitesse in last night’s midweek Conference League fixture.
Uruguayan defender Matías Viña was interviewed by the club’s official channels following the game, and sounded cheerful despite an uneven performance at the Stadio Olimpico.
“I’m happy we’re through to the next round,” said Viña.
“It doesn’t really matter who we pick next,” he replied when asked about Roma’s preferred opponents at this stage of the tournament.
“From now on every opponent is a difficult one,” he concluded.
