With the start of the international break Roma have now the time to regroup following the shocking defeat to Venezia and a disappointing recent string of results.
Earlier today the likes of Matias Viña, Riccardo Calafiori, Leonardo Spinazzola and Chris Smalling stepped into Trigoria to continue their recovery from injury.
The rest of the team was given a day-off by The Special One.
In the meantime, the club are still waiting to understand the situation regarding Lorenzo Pellegrini and Nicolo Zaniolo.
Both players are at Coverciano with the Italian national team. However, their status is still questionable.
Pellegrini is still dealing with a knee inflammation and Zaniolo has suffered muscle fatigue in his calf and knee.
A decision will be made in the coming hours whether to let them continue Italy’s retreat or have them back at Trigoria for precautionary purposes.
