Viña out vs Hellas Verona, Mkhitaryan OK

Matias Viña has not been called up by Jose Mourinho for precautionary reasons. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Uruguayan international will remain in the capital, following a light knee sprain he sustained a few days ago in training.

The Special One said the injury did not worry Roma too much during his press conference ahead of the match against Hellas Verona.

On the other hand, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, despite suffering from muscle fatigue this past week, has been given the green light: the Armenian international will be present at the Bentegodi on Sunday.

It remains to be seen whether Mourinho will start him or continue to field El Shaarawy from the very first minute.
