Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Italiano was not happy with how his side conceded a last minute equalizer to Roma in tonight’s 2-2 draw.

In his post-match interview with DAZN, Italiano spoke of the mistakes that led to Roma’s equalizer.

“Once again we drop points at the death,” said Italiano. “We cannot once again throw away a beautiful, quality and sacrificial performance.”

“It’s unfortunate because we could have done better on the last ball, we are punished for the umpteenth time. In this sense, we also have a bit of bad luck. Overall, we had a good performance, against a strong and healthy team, we put them in difficulty and we are proud of what we achieved. With two months to go you can’t sit there complaining.”

“Penalties? We continue working on them, but right now nothing seems to be working. The ones who should be taking them are missing them consecutively and every time we miss a penalty, we drop points.”
