Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Italiano is being linked with a potential move to Roma in the future.

On Thursday, Adnkronos news agency spotted the Italian technician in the vicinity of Roma’s administrative headquarters at the EUR in the Italian capital around lunch hour.

The news agency speculates whether this is pure coincidence or if Roma have began casting potential long-term replacements of Jose Mourinho.

To date it is difficult to reach a conclusion, but Mourinho’s future is still in the balance and the Friedkins will have to make a decision on the renewal of the Special One by the end of February.

Mourinho has expressed his desire to stay but the American owners are expected to wait and assess the team’s progress throughout the next few months.
