Former Roma striker Vincenzo Montella spoke about his feelings toward the club he won the Scudetto with in 2001 and Mourinho’s tenure.
In an interview with Tuttomercatoweb, Montella declared, “Mourinho is doing a great job, bringing a winning mentality to the team.”
“In my opinion, winning, any competition at any level, is the hardest thing. They did it last year, they are close to another final and hats off to him and his men.”
“Rome represents for me the second home, I have lived in Rome since 1999, my children have become Romanisti.”
“A city like Roma cannot go 20 years without winning a Scudetto. I wish them the very best for the future,” he added.
