Former Roma attacker Vincenzo Montella – currently the head coach of Turkish side Adana Demirspor – spoke about Jose Mourinho’s impact on the capital club and its fanbase as the Special One enters his second year in the Italian capital.
“This Roma team is really fun, Mourinho is helping us have fun,” Montella told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Mou has recreated the kind of enthusiasm that was missing since the Scudetto win in 2001,” he said, recalling the team he was part of in his years with the Giallorossi.
“When you breathe this kind of air in Rome, anything can happen,” he concluded.
