Former Inter shot-stopper Walter Zenga addressed Roma’s ambitions for the upcoming season in an expansive interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“If Roma are able to gift Mourinho both Wijnaldum and Belotti, they’ll be a force to be reckoned with,” said the ex-Cagliari boss.
“They wouldn’t be favorites to win the Scudetto, I wouldn’t go as far as to say that. However, I don’t see many flaws, and they have a lot of options.”
“Dybala needed this: a team that wanted him to be at the centre of a project.”
“But it’s not true that Zaniolo, Pellegrini, Dybala and Abraham can’t play together: you remember the way Mourinho’s Inter played when they won the treble?”
