West Ham continue to refuse loan option for Gianluca Scamacca

Andy Mattioli

Roma are engaged in talks with West Ham for attacker Gianluca Scamacca.

The Italian striker is the club’s primary candidate to replace injured Tammy Abraham who is expected to miss the majority of next season.

However, Roma have encountered issues in dealing with West Ham who are not keen on letting Scamacca leave on loan, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.

In fact, West Ham continue to reject Roma’s loan proposal despite the capital club recently raised their offered fee.

As time is running, Roma have made it clear that they are willing to wait for West Ham’s final decision by the end of next week. Otherwise, the Giallorossi will move on to other targets.
