West Ham United may soon be convinced to let Gianluca Scamacca leave on loan.
The Italian striker is Roma’s priority to replace injured Tammy Abraham, but negotiations with West Ham proved more difficult than expected.
However, according to Corriere dello Sport, there could be a breakthrough in the next few days as West Ham finalize Declan Rice’s sale to Arsenal.
This sale will allow the Premier League side to consider the possibility of not monetizing immediately from Scamacca’s exit.
Roma are set to meet with West Ham later this week in order to assess the feasibility of a deal.
