Westerlo still negotiating deal for Roma fullback Bryan Reynolds

RomaPress – Bryan Reynolds is edging closer to a permanent exit from Roma after spending the past the previous eighteen months on loan in Belgium.

The Giallorossi and Westerlo remain engaged in negotiations after opening transfer talks for the fullback earlier this month. The Belgian side, who acquired Reynolds on a straight loan deal last summer, are keen to bring the American international back to the club on a permanent transfer.

Over the weekend, Roma and Westerlo struck an agreement for a transfer worth just under €4 million, including bonuses, plus a 25% resale clause. However, the defender’s father confirmed to RomaPress there’s still contractual issues that need to be resolved by the right back’s agent, Chris Megaloudis, and Westerlo.

“The deal isn’t done,” he explained. “They’re still working on it but personal terms still haven’t been agreed to yet.”
