The Dutch midfielder is expected to feature in Roma’s starting line-up for the very first time in the upcoming Serie A affair with Cremonese.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Wijnaldum will play alongside Nemanja Matic as Bryan Cristante is one yellow card away from suspension.
The other alternative to Matic is Edoardo Bove who made three starting appearances in 2023, all resulting in wins.
