Gini Wijnaldum and Chris Smalling have both suffered injuries that could sideline them for an extended period of time.
As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, the two players – who were forced to leave the pitch during Thursday’s match with Feyenoord – have suffered thigh injuries. More specifically, the two injured their flexor muscle.
There is no clear timeline for their respective recoveries, but Smalling’s conditions appear to be worse than the Dutchman’s.
