RomaPress – Roma midfielder Gini Wijnaldum has made his return to the club’s training facilities where he will conclude his final stage of recovery following his tibia fracture suffered in late August.
The player was seen at Trigoria earlier today, completing his first session of individual training under the supervision of Jose Mourinho’s staff.
The hope is for Wijnaldum to participate in Roma’s Portugal tour and recover in the coming weeks ahead of Bologna-Roma on 4 January.
A verdict on his return date will be given either today or tomorrow as Wijnaldum is set to undergo further tests with the club’s medical staff.
