Wijnaldum could be available for Roma-Bologna

Gini Wijnaldum is reportedly making huge leaps in his final stage of recovery following a tibia fracture suffered in late August forced him to miss over almost months of action.

The ex-Liverpool man is expected to return from his fractured tibia injury sometime within the next 3-4 weeks.

In fact, according to Sky Sport, Wijnaldum is back in Italy and ready to undergo his final medical check-up to determine the precise return date. The player is expected to soon begin group training with the rest of the team in Portugal.

The Italian sports network also adds that there is a possibility Wijnaldum could fully recover in time for Roma-Bologna where he could earn his first minutes since going down with the injury in training in August.
