Bayer Leverkusen are ready to re-enter the race for the signature of Patrik Schick.
Bild has reported that with the deal to sell Kai Havertz to Chelsea nearly agreed upon, the Czech is one of the names that the German side want to bring to the club to replace their outgoing attacker.
RB Leipzig has long expressed their desire to keep Schick, but after months of negotiations with Roma, they still have yet to come to an agreement on a fee.
With the sale of Havertz to Chelsea, though, Bayer could likely offer a higher fee than Julian Nagelsmann’s side for Schick, who is not in the plans of Roma boss Paulo Fonseca.
