With Ibañez out, Mourinho may change formation

Roma coach Jose Mourinho applauds new signings Rui Patricio and Matias Vina

As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Roger Ibañez is set to miss around 5 weeks of action due to a knee injury he picked up in the first half to Roma’s loss to Inter at the San Siro.

Thus, Corriere dello Sport reports that in the Brazilian’s absence, Jose Mourinho plans on replacing him with Marash Kumbulla and changing the formation of the team back to a 4-2-3-1 with Abraham leading the attack.

Pellegrini is set to start and take his place as the trequartista, with Felix slotting in for the suspended Zaniolo, and Mkhitaryan advancing from his previous assignments in the midfield.

Sergio Oliveira is expected to be paired up with Jordan Veretout.
